Today I will look at the individual players that will be competing at the world cup. These are the players that I feel will make the difference.

LIONEL MESSI

ARGENTENA  AND BARCALONA

 

Considered to be the best player of his generation Messi 27 will definitely be someone who ill affects what happens at the world cup. He has won by the age of 21 the FIFA world player of the year and the Ballon Dor awards and can take on a defence like there is no one there. He might find it easier against Bosnia and Iran in the group but there will be trickier opponents.

LUIS SUAREZ 

URUAGUAY  AND LIVERPOOL

 

This year was a good year for Suarez as he managed to score 30 premiership goals in a season something that very few players can do. This was a very good year for his club Liverpool as the finished 2 ponts behind the champions which they normally do not do. In n2014 he won Players player of the year but does have a pit of a temper as with his racist remark to Patrice Evra. This man can definitely score goals

YAYA TOURE

IVORY COAST AND MAN CITY

 

Toure is more known as a passing mover as he uses his strength to get past the defenders that are in front of him. He believes that the only reason why he was not world player of the year is because he is African but there may be some truth to that. His partnership with Diddier Drogba will be very important to Ivory Coast chances.

MARIO BALOTELLI

ITALY AND AC MALLAN   

Mario Balotelli does have a bit of a discipline problem. He is someone that will score a few goals for you but it will depend how he works with the management team at Italy as what can happen with one player might affect the whole team and you could see something like this happen. A good Balotelli will score goals for you and take you far in the competition.  

XAVI

SPAIN AND BARCALONA

 

Quite possibly the best centre midfielder in the world and Xavi will be very important in getting the ball and passing the ball to the strikers. He is a player that is regularly in this Spain team but is never mentioned as one of the players that is important in the Spain team

ROBIN VAN PERSE

NETHERLANDS AND MAN UNITED

This is a player when on form can be one of the best strikers in the world cup. He may not be able to pick that form up easily as his club has not had the greatest season finishing 7^th their lowest position in 24 years. But Van Perse goals for Man United and before that Arsenal will be a defining factor for Netherlands but they have to play Spain in their first match and probably play Brazil in the last 16 which does not make things easy for them.

CHRISTANO RONALDO

PORTUGAL AND REAL MADRID

 

Ronaldo is the best winger at the moment and probably the best winger ever. He showed that he could handle the pressure of a big match as Portugal needed to beat Sweden in the play offs and they did. He is one of the most expensive players in the world as he moved from Man United to Real for 80 million pounds. He has been FIFAS player of the year and definitely will get Portugal goals but will that be enough.   

LUCAS PODOLSKI

GERMANY AND ARSENAL

Lucas Podolski  is a quality striker who likes to take his shots from the left side of the pitch. Lucas scored the fastest goal in German football history and they will be a force at the world cup but if they get out of the group with 3 difficult sides and reach the quarters which will not be easy either goal will be a very important factor in whether they do well as they are normally a defensive nation

Is there anyone you think will destroy the team camp?  In my opinion if anyone will it will be Balotelli.
